The Dragon 2-handed Sword (commonly called a Dragon 2h or D2h) is the strongest 2-handed sword and strongest overall melee weapon in RSC Cabbage. It is not found in official RuneScape Classic or RSC Preservation.
RSC Preservation
There never was a Dragon 2-handed sword released during the lifespan of Classic. It is not seen in RSC Preservation.
RSC Cabbage
It requires level 60 Attack to wield. It can only be obtained as a drop from the King Black Dragon at a rate of 1/4096. (1/2048 with a Ring of Wealth). No quests are required to wield it.
In RuneScape 2, due to weapons having different speeds, it would be more useful as a knock-out weapon. However, since all weapons have the same speed in RSC Cabbage, it is commonly used for general combat, particularly when a shield is not necessary for additional armour points. Based on stats alone, it outclasses both the Dragon sword and Dragon axe in every place the player does not need a shield. 46 armor points are lost without the Rune Kite Shield equipped.
It can also be used on dragons by starting combat with an Anti dragon breath Shield equipped, before switching to the D2h for the remainder of the combat cycle. The player will not be burned by dragon fire as long as they start combat with the anti shield equipped.
