Discord Message Board Tips

Below are some methods which were adapted from messages left by users in the message board channel of the community Discord server. This information can be read in a sequential order, with tips at the top being more relevant for newer players who are at beginner levels or game knowledge.

Complete the spy quest

You can finish this quest at any time, provided that you can survive the 3 rounds of combat with a level 46 Black Knight or travel through the necessary door without being attacked. Finishing it gives a quest reward.

Collecting Iron Daggers in Lumbridge

At the Goblin hut in Lumbridge, collect Iron daggers and sell them at the nearby General store.

At around level 15 in Attack, Strength, and Defense you can being killing Goblins, if you have a proper weapon or armour. Once you've reached this point:

Kill goblins in, and around the goblin hut, while picking up the Iron dagger each time it spawns and pick up these valuable drops:

Keep-

  • Coins
  • Body runes
  • Earth runes
  • Water runes

Sell-

  • Goblin armor
  • Shortbows
  • Bronze square shields

You can do this for a while. Continue this until you reach level 30 in your combat stats, and then continue onto the next method.

Killing Dwarves

There are a lot of dwarves which spawn very close together in near the anvils and Dwarven Mine General Store in the north western part of the area.

Killing dwarves in the Dwarven mines will provide a continuous stream of:

  • Coins
  • Melee combat, Ranged, or Good/Evil Magic XP
  • Pray Good/Pray Evil XP
  • Smithing XP

Selling the Bronze Chain spawn

Nearby the anvils is a Bronze chain body spawn which can be sold to the General store, with each sale decreasing by 1 coin. These could also be sold to Wayne's Chains in Falador if the player wishes to take the walk.

Picking up drops

Dwarves drop several valuables, such as:

  • Coins, which will add up quickly if collected
  • Iron battleaxes which sell at the General store for 72 coins each.
  • Bronze battleaxes sell at the General store for nearly 30 coins each
  • Bronze bars & Iron bars
    • These Dwarf spawns are located near 4 anvils which means that you can train your Smithing level, and then sell what you make directly to the nearby general store as well.
    • With level 18 Smithing: save up 5 Bronze bars from drops and then make them into Bronze Plate Mail Bodies which sell for 64 coins each
    • Smith Iron medium helmets iron which sell for 33 coins each

Healing

Low level players could theoretically seek free healing from the Monk NPC's at the nearby Monastery.
