Dragon Scale Mail is a custom content item found in the RSC Cabbage game type. It is a strong piece of armor made from King Black Dragon scales. It is considered a chain body and can be equipped with gauntlets. It currently provides the best stats of any piece of body armor. In addition, a player must also have a Defense level of at least 60 to equip it. Despite Dwarf Rescue being required to craft it, no quests are required to wear Dragon scale mail.

Besides its normal stats, the dragon scale mail also provides a 10% reduced damage taken from dragon fire, which stacks with the effects of an Anti dragon breath Shield and the Defense Skill cape.

Making a Dragon Scale Mail

Requires

• Completion of the Dwarf Rescue mini-quest
• 150 small King Black Dragon scales (obtained from chiseling 30 large King Black Dragon scales) -
  • Requires the player to have reached level 90 Crafting
  • Large Scales are dropped by the King Black Dragon at 1/50 odds or 1/25 with Ring of Wealth equipped
• 500 Dragon metal chain links (obtained by using 10 dragon longswords or 5 dragon axes
  on the lava furnace then using the received dragon bars on the anvil nearby with a hammer in the inventory)
  • Requires the player to have reached level 90 Smithing.
• 500,000 coins

After obtaining these items, head to Wayne of Wayne's Chains in Falador.
He'll ask you for the scales, chain links, and 500k coins to make a Dragon Scale Mail body.
